ALTTPR League

Rules

Season 2

The goal of the ALTTPR League is to enjoy the competition of tournament play but avoid the burnout that inevitably comes along with the grind. Each team will consist of exactly three individuals who each week will select two representatives from their team to compete in two separate 1v1 races. The three teams with the highest point totals in their division at the end of the season will advance to a four-week playoff. During the playoff, all 3 members of the team will compete to advance.
Welcome to the ALTTPR League!

LEAGUE FORMAT
• The league consists of 2 conferences with 4 divisions
Light World Conference
Lost Woods, Kakariko, Hyrule Castle & Lake Hylia with 8 teams per division.
Dark World Conference

• Teams can replace one player per season.

• Each of the week’s two races must be completed by a different team member.
Exception: Co-op races may be run by the same 2 team members if desired.
• Every team member must race a minimum of 4 times per season.
• At the end of the season, each team who has a member that has not raced the minimum of 4 races will be deducted 4 points for each race that player did not participate in.
• The race week begins on Monday and ends on Sunday. All races must be completed and reported in the #race-results channel on the League Discord by Sunday Night 11:59pm eastern time of that designated week.

RACE PROCEDURES & RULES
• The ALTTPR League follows the rules set defined by the ALTTPR Racing Council.
• ALTTPR Racing Ruleset
• We will be using the ruleset as set out by the ALTTPR racing council, with the exception that any glitches with rulings that are temporary and have not had a final decision made will be disallowed in the tournament. Any new applications of current tech, or combinations of currently allowed tech would need to be explicitly ruled upon as well. Any ruling made by the council will go into effect for the tournament 24 hours after it is posted, to allow players in the tournament time to adjust.
• Races will use SpeedRunsLive. You must be registered and be familiar with joining race rooms and racing with SRL prior to the start of the league.
• All races must be streamed on Twitch and enable VOD saving.
• Racers must enable a 10 minute delay on their broadcast.
• No delay will be required for spoiler log races.
• Players may not be in a restream channel or chat during the race.
• For races not restreamed on Speedgaming or the ALTTPRLeague Twitch channel, 10 minutes prior to the race’s starting time one racer will create a race room on SRL with the goal set as ‘ALTTPR League: Name vs. Name – Week #’. One racer will generate the seed in their respective division channel on the League Discord. (Code for generating the seed can be found in the channel topics)
• For races restreamed on Speedgaming or the ALTTPRLeague Twitch channel, a room will be created 30 minutes prior to the race’s starting time by a League Mod or SG Helper. Restreamed races will begin 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time so you must be ready to start prior to that. You should start your stream with a 10 minute delay approximately 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. The SG Helper will generate your seed 5 minutes prior to the start of your race.
• The League Bot will direct message you the seed for your race.
• The winner of the race is required to report the results of the race in the #race-results channel of the League Discord with the information ‘Winning Team — Winning Time, Losing Team — Losing Runner’
• All races for the week must be completed & reported by Sunday Night 11:59pm Eastern Time. Any races not reported will be counted as losses for both teams.
• For co-op team members will communicate and share information verbally using one of the co-op voice channels in the League discord. Screen sharing is not allowed. Sharing information via a shared document is permitted. Shared documents are only allowed for the week marked ‘Co-Op Info Share’.
• Do not use any logic to read and process the spoiler log. Usage of the spoiler log shall be restricted to basic text editor functions like Copy/Paste, Search, etc. Formulas, scripts and auto parsing are not permitted.
• All races that end in a tie in the playoffs will be re-raced by the same runners with the same game modes.
• Quickswap menuing is only permitted for matches with the games settings ‘Crossworld Entrance Keysanity & Mystery.’
• We ask that restreamed runners DO NOT enable palette shuffle.
• We take cheating serious and public accusations of cheating will not be tolerated
